In July 0f 2015, I visited the Pacific Northwest.  I had only been to Oregon on a drive through the Columbia River Gorge and wanted to see more of the state.  While my main reason for the trip was to spend time in Oregon, I also visited some other places I always wanted to see in Idaho and Washington. This was one of my longest vacations in quite a while.  During the two-week vacation, I traveled over 2,378.7 miles.  The trip was very enjoyable.

Portland, Oregon

Spent time along the riverfront
 to attend the Blues Festival
on July 3rd and 4th.

Fireworks were presented at same location
 on the 4th.

Rockaway Beach, Oregon

Stayed on the beach for two days
to relax and take in the fresh air.

Enjoyed good meals along the beach.

Tillamook, Oregon

On July 6th, I ventured away from the beach
 and visited Tillamook to see
the Tillamook Cheese Factory.

While in Tillamook,
I also enjoyed the Tillamook Air Museum

McMinneville, Oregon

On July 7th,
on my way to Crater Lake,

I stopped in to see
the Evergreen Aviation and Space Museum.

Crater Lake National Park, Oregon

On July 7th, 8th and 9th,
I stayed near Crater Lake National Park
at the Crater Lake Resort.

On July 8th,
I spent the day seeing and
driving around Crater Lake.

On July 9th,
I visited the surrounding area.

Boise, Idaho

On July 11th,
I visited The Idaho Territoral Prison.

Spokane, Washington

On July 13th,
I visited Spokane and
the Spokane Falls at the Riverfront.

Columbia River Gorge, Oregon

On July 15th,
I drove through the Columbia River Gorge.
The views are spectacular
as you drive along the Columbia River.
Too bad I couldn't take pictures as I was driving.

I made a rest stop at Multnomah Falls.
Last time I was here
the weather was foggy and rainy.
I couldn't see much.
I am glad I came back again
to see the falls with
much better viewing weather.
