The next day I drove to Banff to see the Banff Gondola.

When I got to the top, I could see Banff down below from the top of Sulphur Mountain.

There were a lot of little varmits scurrying about looking for food.

I didn't realize there would be a lot of walking on this excursion.

Luckily it was a beautiful day and I was not in a hurry.

In this photo, I am located near the gondola station.  The plan is to walk over to the other top of the mountain and see what's there and how the view is.

Looking back toward the gondola station and restaurant.

Making my way to the other top of the mountain.

Ah.  So this is where they have a Cosmic Ray Station.

Looking down on Banff from the highest point of the mountain.

Making sure I can find the railing...

The old Cosmic Station that is no longer in use.

Time to head back.

Miami, Florida, USA is 2,553 miles ESE of this location.

On the way back to the hotel, I decided to stop by Bow Falls, in Banff.

It was evening but there seemed to be enough light for the camera.
